Description:
Recently acquired in Manila, this was purportedly used by a medical doctor who bought it in the US, hence its 110 volt version (220 volts is the Philippine standard). It was clearly repainted in the past, most probably hewing closely to its original grey color. Given this electricity requirement, I dare not turn it on for now.

I'm an archaeologist who writes heritage books and collects Japanese ceramics as well as quite a number of typewriters that I've acquired through purchase or as gifts over the last 10 years in the Philippines as well as in the US and Japan.
I'm currently a visiting professor at a university in Japan and it is heaven here to see so many typewriters being auctioned online!
