Someone was painting perhaps a wall and did not have the decency to get this beautiful typewriter out of the way. And so I will be spending my retirement in ten years removing all these white paint sprays on it one by one. Lol.

I'm an archaeologist who writes heritage books and collects Japanese ceramics as well as quite a number of typewriters that I've acquired through purchase or as gifts over the last 10 years in the Philippines as well as in the US and Japan.
I'm currently a visiting professor at a university in Japan and it is heaven here to see so many typewriters being auctioned online!
