Description:
Purchased at a local antique store for $10. Great typewriters and this example is nice as well. The first and only repair that I have had done by Bill Wahl of the Mesa Typewriter Exchange. The escapment wheel spring was out of wack. He replaced it with a new one. Yes, the part was new. His grandfather ordered it and it was in a parts drawer for 50 years. The part even had a tag written in his grandfather's handwriting.

Father, husband, typewriter collector. Probably the third-greatest English teacher you will meet today. A little bald, but very knowledgeable about club soda.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Royal FP on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Royal Serial Number page and the Royal FP By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
