Description:
Purchased for a special project needing a wide carriage machine. This was my first Olympia and after seeing the Senatorial typeface was unable to re-list it. return lever was bent, Possibly in transit. It has a very slight bow to it after straightening. No case, so it lives in a "Pelican" style road case which is even better.

Greetings! Typewriters have come and gone during my life but now I am focused on having the machine that fits the best. I sent off my Corona Standard in favor of a Olivetti Lettera 35 and a Triumph Contessa. I am a project manager by trade and activist by choice, I recently typed a letter to the Mayor to have a greater impact than email. Space requires I limit my collection to 2 machines.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Olympia SM4 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Olympia Serial Number page and the Olympia SM4 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
