Description:
Incredibly smooth. Petite and elegant. The seafoam green color is gorgeous. The bell has a lovely chime. The script font is neat and charming.
This was an incredibly lucky find on my part. She was sitting on a table at a flea market and I went over to look (you know how it goes,) but had no specific intention to buy her. Then I saw that the price was $42.50... I examined her more closely. She was a little dingey but, still, $42.50? Something must be wrong with her... I noticed that the hammers were script and became even more suspicious. Someone had no idea what they had on their hands. I determined that they thought she "didn't work" because the carriage was not advancing... because the carriage lock was engaged... I snatched her up and took her home. I cleaned her up and she's a dream. I can't believe I got so lucky.
