Description:
Update 2022: Sold this typewriter a few years ago.
After a very long search and waiting-time, I found this beauty finally on German eBay. It was the most expensive typewriter so far, but pretty much worth it. I do not regret spending so much money for it.
10cpi, very clean, very good overall shape. The platen ist rock-hard, of course. I might will get that done one day.
The Hermes 300 is a very fine typewriter and one of my favourites so far. I like the touch, the solid build quality and the margin system.
A keeper.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Hermes 3000 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Hermes Serial Number page and the Hermes 3000 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
