Description:
I followed the sale of this machine for a long time, but the seller refused to send it from St. Petersburg to Moscow. Eventually, it was bought by my friend Alexander Trofimov, a typewriter collector from St. Petersburg, and subsequently he sent it to me) Also he gave it the nickname "toon" for it extraordinary shape and fun coloring. Like all other Consuls, this model is stunning both externally and functionally. Comfortable, large, stylish, what a real typewriter should be. The case is a separate masterpiece.
Personally, I do not understand only one thing - how did it happen that the 224 model "was born" before the 221?))))

Hi everyone!
I'm Sergei, I was made in Russia)
A psychologist, a collector of all sorts of vintage junk, typewriters, alarm clocks, and so on.
I love typewriters, and typewriters love me))
I wouldn't call myself a HUNTER - I just love typewriters, use them and collect some of them.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Consul 224 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Consul Serial Number page and the Consul 224 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
