Description:
This Fairbanks Ward Deluxe Portable was made in Czechoslovakia. The Consul name had many variations, but a source claims the Remington serial numbers (pre-1960) have a ZP prefix--who knows. The sticker on bottom of machine says 37589, maybe this could be a manufacture date. There's no copyright date or exact name mention in the owners manual either. Upate 3/19/2023 gave this machine to help a good local cause!

After finding a Smith-Corona Coronet 12 at a curb-side (in Winter while walking the dog) I carried it home; after it thawed out and started coming back to life I was hooked. My interest in this hobby lead to taking two parts typewriters to create one good unit. This typewriter aliment is (pretty much) in-curable!
