Description:
I am happy I found this Byron portable. These were produced by Japy in Beaucourt, France, and sold by Byron Business Machines of Nottingham.
Japy, in turn, had produced this model as licencee of the Patria right holders based in Switzerland.
With the machine now located in Basel, it is only 60 kilometres away from its birth place in France after having spent 60 years or so in the UK.
