Description:
Between the mid-1950s and early 1960s German Triumph produced a series of portable typewriter models all very similar to each other although with different names (Perfekt, Norm, Gabriele......), excellent mechanical quality with bodies in different colors, even two-tone. This 1959 specimen has a beautiful light brown/cream two-tone body, fully functional without any mechanical intervention, I love it.

I have been an Italian typewriter collector for many many years. At that time, I loved very old typewriters from late 1800s to early 1900s. After a break of a few years I returned to collect typewriters but no longer so old, I prefer now the design of the 40's, 50's and 60's. Yes, I am an affectionate collector of Olivetti, of course, but I'm attracted to all the other brands from that period, not just Italian.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Triumph Perfekt on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Triumph Serial Number page and the Triumph Perfekt By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
