Description:
$20 on Marketplace.
I'd label it in pretty good physical condition, but fair working order. Definitely some quirks to fix, like a constantly chiming bell (every keystroke and extra loud at the end of the line), right Magic Margin nonfunctional, an issue with the ribbon reverse... But it came with the lovely Executive (9cpi) typeface so I will work out the kinks happily!

First typewriter bought in 6/2023, now at over 30 in my collection with most recorded in the galleries. There's a special place in my heart for Smith-Coronas, blue typewriters, and typewriters from 1964 (my parents' birth year). Prefer manuals to electrics, portables to ultra portables or desktops, but will head home with anything if it's cheap enough and functional/repairable. I've successfully gifted typewriters to two siblings, a best friend, and an in-law. Keeping up with my lifelong tradition of making and repairing by hand. When not typing or working on a typewriter, I'm often reading, gardening (vegetable), preserving harvests (canning, dehydrating, freezing), knitting, sewing, writing letters/short stories, or shooting film photography. I like the slow, analog life.
