A late era SM2. No 75 artistic.
The later SM2s were offered alongside the SM3 and SM4 as a budget model until the release of the SM7. Last DB SN as of 10.27.25 is 189. These machines can be identified by the absence of a tabulator, card guide, and margin sets that are hidden behind. Yellow painted machines like this one are often script. So there's a spotter's tip for you.
This one was a smoker's machine and dirty to boot. Why does it seem that smoker's are often not the neatest people? Along the way it was banged around a bit as well. Some forming here and there, along with some careful cleaning, she type's again. Not too bad, but when you are coming off a minty SM4, you get picky.
