Right in my wheelhouse! A portable from 1958, a very clean Aristocrat. Compared to the 1958 SC-Super, I have to say personally, I like the Royal better. It feels more well put together, and it's lines are more modern.
I received this one from an Ebay purchase on March 13, 2015. I pulled it from the shipping box and began typing (see the typed photo).
Being from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, I certainly know what a keystone is! Press the Royal red keystone and the ribbon cover pops open - how cool is that?
I need to find a semi-permanent home in the house for this one! ~T~
