Description:
The platen is rock hard, the backspace mechanism is worn out and needs replacement, and the tabulator doesn't work for reasons yet undiagnosed. But the type is as sharp and clear as the keys are snappy, and it's a joy to use. Purchased without a case. Sold in June 2020.

Resident of Portland, Oregon since 2015. Mostly interested in semi-portables of the '30s, '40s, and '50s (the late glass key top through late pre-electric eras), with a special interest in unusual or distinctive typefaces other than techno and script. Always learning!
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Rheinmetall KsT on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Rheinmetall Serial Number page and the Rheinmetall KsT By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
