Description:
This Olympia SM3 is in excellent working condition and functions flawlessly. The only problems that it has is the usual hard platen.
The feel of the keystrokes on this machine are crisp and snappy, the force it takes to make a perfect and comfortable keystroke is perfect at the center position of the key tension lever located under the ribbon cover.

Hello!
My name is Jayson, I live in remote Alaska, and I love the outdoors. My hobbies include hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, and when I'm traveling I'm collecting things I can't get locally. One item is typewriters.
Being remote such as I am the written or typed word is still very important, whether it is to keep in touch with family and friends or getting a shopping list to the store so a load of groceries can be sent out on the mail plane within a week or two.
Fun fact, in town mail gets flown to Anchorage 410 miles away to be sorted and flown back to be delivered In town! The perfect illustration of government at work. But I digress.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Olympia SM3 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Olympia Serial Number page and the Olympia SM3 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
