Original condition: Dirty interior. Key with hypen/asterisk doesn’t work at all. Ribbon vibrator sticks. Rear paper rest is bent and doesn’t deploy properly. Platen button on right platen knob won’t press in to release. Case hinge on right rear is yanked out, needs to be re-attached.
Restoration notes: Tom Furrier at Cambridge Typewriter fixed all the broken/bent elements, removed nail polish from the -/* key and reattached to type bar. Case hinge remains broken.
