1958 Olympia SG1 Serial # 7-348958 1958 Olympia SG1 typewriter, Serial # 7-348958 Timothy Lamke's 1958 Olympia SG1 typewriter. 2020-08-19 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Timothy Lamke: 1958 Olympia SG1 Serial # 7-348958 I saved this from Craigslist for $65, it was listed as a great idea for decorating or chopping up for bracelets and necklaces. I brought it home, gave it a quick cleaning, found the X lever had come off at the linkage, reattached it. It types beautifully, no adjustments needed. Is missing the paper support like they usually are, is missing the indicator from the left margin tab, the platen is hard but usable, the paint is a little worn where the wrists hit. This is my first typewriter, and it is amazing.

Typeface is Elite 12 pitch.
