Description:
John Hartley. Gifted to us March 2024 from a friend's parents' estate. John typed his PhD dissertation on this machine. It needs some TLC, but look at that green case!! Missing ribbon spools, left carriage knob is broken off, the letter "A" does not work and neither does the backspace key.

Started collecting in March 2021 when an Olympia SM3 caught my eye at a thrift store. By May 2021, I was up to nine. By September 2021, my husband jumped in to the pool with both feet and our collection grew to 37. Phew. By October 2022 we had 64. In 2023 we began attending and hosting events where we can share our collection with the community and other collectors. We've sold or given away about 21. Good times.
