Description:
This beautiful typewriter has been in the hands of the original owner since new. It's recently been passed to me. It's in spectacular condition and types as good as it looks. Woodwards was a department store here in British Columbia from 1892 to 1993 so it's a significant part in the history of the Vancouver area. Given that only about 30,000 were made and they were only sold here in a few Woodwards Stores that existed in Western Canada, it's considered fairly rare. I'm honoured to give it a place in my small collection and to be able to use it daily.
