Description:
Pica type
US keyboard
I got this for $1 at a yard sale, part of a rather exciting day in which I found 4 typewriters. It had some nasty (intentional, oddly) scrapes to the ribbon cover that you can't see in the photos. I sold it before I moved since it didn't have a case, but I miss it a bit. I never did remove Larry Degoffau's name.

I started collecting typewriters in 2006, but what started it all was using my mother's Brother Student-Riter XL1 in 2004. The next year I received my grandma's Smith-Corona Silent, which was enough to hold me over for a little while but eventually led to an obsession with manual portable typewriters.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Voss ST 24 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Voss Serial Number page and the Voss ST 24 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
