Description:
Apart from the heavy carriage return, this machine is a joy to type on. This model differs from earlier Matura's by having less chrome, 6 keystrokes after the bell in stead of 5 and a new keyboard. The keys have a slightly sharper edge, a reversed shape and a textured top. Compared with the old keyboard, typing feels less soft but more precise and snappy.
The margin stops are hidden behind the foldable, extended paper table. The big lever on the right of the carriage is for releasing the feed rollers and paper bail.
The missing name badge on the paper table is a common issue with Triumph's from the 50s, as is the corrosion on the body next to the keyboard.

I live in The Netherlands.
Most common typewriter brands over here are Triumph/Adler, Olympia, Erika, Olivetti, Remington and Brother.
I collect and restore typewriters to learn about their design and to write with them.
