Description:
Dutch author Jan Willem Holsbergen (1915-1995) wrote all his work on this Matura. The machine was serviced at regular base. Two type slugs were replaced (T, N) and the platen looked fairly new.
Despite not being used for decades (the Matura was full with cobwebs), the machine worked just fine. The typewriter had a used carbon ribbon with one side still readable.

I live in The Netherlands.
Most common typewriter brands over here are Triumph/Adler, Olympia, Erika, Olivetti, Remington and Brother.
I collect and restore typewriters to learn about their design and to write with them.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Triumph Matura on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Triumph Serial Number page and the Triumph Matura By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
