Description:
Second iteration of the Gabriele. Changes over its predecessor are the new keys and carriage.
According to a newspaper ad published in the “Algemeen Handelsblad” of November 22, 1957, the Gabriele was offered for ƒ 309 without case, while the Norm costed ƒ 414 and the Perfekt ƒ 448. Another ad offers the Gabriele with case for ƒ 338.
Because I found a case key inside the machine (it was stuck between the body and the frame) I suspect the original owner opted to buy this machine with the case.

I live in The Netherlands.
Most common typewriter brands over here are Triumph/Adler, Olympia, Erika, Olivetti, Remington and Brother.
I collect and restore typewriters to learn about their design and to write with them.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Triumph Gabriele on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Triumph Serial Number page and the Triumph Gabriele By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
