Description:
This particular SM3 is notable for its creamy white paint instead of the colorful matte paints worn by most of its sisters. It also needed its rubber grommets replaced as they had melted into unusable goop.
This one saw heavy use in its life and was not protected well; the photo doesn't show it clearly but the paint is chipped and scratched all over the place.
More photos are to come pending further cleaning.

I inherited two Royal KMMs as a kid. Over a decade later I started actively collecting and repairing in 2015 shortly after discovering the existence of "weird" typewriters like the Blickensderfer and Hammond, and finding a destroyed Super Sterling to experiment on.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Olympia SM3 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Olympia Serial Number page and the Olympia SM3 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
