Made on August 26, 1957 as marked on the bottom of the machine. Kind of neat that the original manufacture date is stamped on the bottom of this typewriter. I found this machine at a local vendor mall and got it for a good price. Elite typeface, nearly perfect condition, except that like all of the earlier Olympias, it needs new rubber. A fantastic typer.
