Description:
I purchased this beautiful brown SM3 with brown key tops from its local owner in June 2018. She'd had it in the 1980s and typed her thesis on it; she'd had it professionally serviced at that time and had stored it carefully since. It's still clean as a whistle, with shiny rails and fixtures, and works great. Uses Olympia's #8 Elite typeface.
In August 2022, traded to Ace Typewriter in Portland, Oregon for a gray/brown SM3 fitted with Italic Elite no. 89 type (https://typewriterdatabase.com/see.18574.typewriter).
