Description:
Update June 2022
I have added many photos to this gallery. In May 2022, in his workshop, Alessio Vescovo gave the typewriter everything the machine had dreamed of for the last 40 years. New platen, new rubber feet, gasoline bath, typeslug alignment, lubrification. You name it, the machine got it. I added all the photos I made when the machine was „naked“. I mean, how often do you see a naked Graphika…
And to celebrate the serviced Graphika I bought a reprint of a poster designed A.M. Cassandre (the designer of the typeface) for the perfect background.
He was best known for his poster designs.
In this gallery you can also find a comparison between the Reiner and the Cassandre typeface.
And a comparison of the "Typeface Specimen Sample" with the old platen - new platen.

My first typewriter had a Script typeface. The second machine was a Graphika with the Cassandre typeface.
I quickly discovered my interest in different typefaces, so I focused my collection on them.
Currently I can choose from 36 different typefaces.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Olivetti Graphika on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Olivetti Serial Number page and the Olivetti Graphika By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
