Description:
According to Robert Messenger this is not a Good Companion 1, it is a Good Companion T, but things are a bit complicated...follow the link to his blog and read for yourself. It is very interesting.
Does anybody know more about the type slug foundry?
Who else, besides Imperial used type slugs from this foundry?

So that I don't have to write every word by hand when learning Italian, I bought my first typewriter. Now I am surrounded by 5 Olivetti machines ... they seem to be attracted to my new language skills. And because I quickly discovered my interest in different typefaces, I focused my collection on them. I currently have 23 different typefaces on 26 machines.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Imperial Good Companion 1 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Imperial Serial Number page and the Imperial Good Companion 1 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
