Description:
This one was found by a friend who knew about my interest. She got it from the original owner, who bought it in Germany in the ‘50s. Great condition though showing wear. The type sample is by the ribbon that was in it (on universal plastic spools). There's no apostrophe, so one has to use the accent acute; there is, however, an exclamation point so there's that.

While I find all of mankind's inventions interesting, I am most enchanted by the human-scale arts and devices, the ones that can be created (and repaired) in a home workshop or studio; the ones that can be understood by looking at them; the ones that do something useful or stir admiration. Typewriters work for me.
