1956 Underwood De Luxe Serial # AE2798871 1956 Underwood De Luxe typewriter, Serial # AE2798871 JP Huard's 1956 Underwood De Luxe typewriter. 2015-03-21 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of JP Huard: 1956 Underwood De Luxe Serial # AE2798871 Picked this one up when I picked up my cursive Hermes 3000, simply because of how hideously tacky the gold on gold on gold combination is. Additionally, it had a ton of interesting paperwork, and I'm a sucker for paperwork.

From what I can tell (from the paperwork that was in the case), this typewriter was purchased and used at Yawman and Erbe Mfg. Co. in Rochester NY... Looking at the green form, someone clearly used it in 1960 to do the "Filament Efficiency Reports (Monthly)".
