Description:
The nameplate is misleading. This Sterling had a poor condition shell (which ultimately re-clothed the green Clipper) and I happened to have a Super that was in the rarer sandstone beige paintwork. The Super was a parts machine, and it has given many bits to keep my other Super-5s in functional shape.
As a result, the Sterling got the nice shell and now has the wrong name on the paper table! So it's a Pseudo-Super!
It works like it ought to, which the original guts of the shell did not. This machine was also originally a French-Canadian machine, but these parts were swapped into my '55 Sterling so as to accommodate the white keytops and have them correspond correctly.
