It had some carriage grinding but plenty of info out there about the easy fix: replacing the squashed rubber washers above the feet which lifts the body/carriage back up from the chassis.

So many machines to explore. I became interested in typewriters as a creative tool but then the collecting bug hit me and gave me an escape from writer's block. I hope I can land on one machine and start the writing.
