1956 Moskva 4 Serial # 6553 1956 Moskva 4 typewriter, Serial # 6553 Aleks Shipilov's 1956 Moskva 4 typewriter. 2026-07-09 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Aleks Shipilov: 1956 Moskva 4 Serial # 6553 Portable typewriter "Moscow" model 4, serial number 6553.
Preservation and condition is amazing and great.

Date of production 17.03.1956 at the Portable Typewriter Factory, Moscow, Bolshaya Serpukhovskaya Street, 21.
Date of sale 24.03.1956 at the Central Universal Store, Moscow, Petrovka Street, 2.

Surprisingly, not only the passport, the control letter with samples of the font imprints, the instruki
on service, but also the commodity check issued in the store at the sale of the product.
The seller filled out the check in a handwritten manner, using a chemical pencil for this purpose.
In dry form On paper, it left a non-bright silvery-gray trace, like an ordinary graphite pencil.
But when in contact with moisture, the dye brightly colored and penetrated into the structure of the paper fibers.
This is exactly what happened, and it can be seen at the bottom of the sales receipt.

The seller wrote the date of sale, the receipt number, the brand and number of the printing machine, and its cost:
"24/III 56 year No. 45 Moscow 5553 1050= one thousand fifty rubles," and she signed her name.
However, she made a mistake in one of the numbers, probably because the number was partially hidden
by the metal casing.

The typewriter has a compact enamel emblem of a late design, with a diameter of 18.2 mm.
The nut has a stamp in the form of the abbreviation "SH.E.Z" and one five-pointed star.
SH.E.Z stands for the Moscow Stamping and Enameling Plant, which was located at 55 Aviamotornaya Street, Building 8, in Moscow.
