Description:
Don't you just adore this slim figure? This little guy came to us from St. Petersburg, FL by way of ebay. As typewriter collectors, we fell in love with the Hermes line and wanted to round out the family with one of each. Love the way they feel when you type! Can totally understand why authors of yore chose these machines to write novels on - so comfortable you can type for miles.

Started with one typewriter in our small cottage, and ended up with over twenty! Transformed a closet into a gothic "typewriterbrary" and it makes a great centerpiece for the house, and an easy way to access all the typewriters for writing letters, journaling, and whatnot, as well as keeping them dust-free in the betweentimes.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Hermes Rocket on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Hermes Serial Number page and the Hermes Rocket By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
