Description:
Book elite type
US keyboard with ˆ and ¨
No Everest logo on front or on the ribbon cover... a label for Bellingham Business Machines has been placed in the front, likely at a later date.
I think this might actually be an Everest Jolson missing its front badge. They are quite easy to loose, in fact the two I am aware of both needed their badges re-glued on. The serial number and color scheme would fit.
Sold to a fellow typewriter collector with connections to Bellingham.

I started collecting typewriters in 2006, but what started it all was using my mother's Brother Student-Riter XL1 in 2004. The next year I received my grandma's Smith-Corona Silent, which was enough to hold me over for a little while but eventually led to an obsession with manual portable typewriters.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Everest K2 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Everest Serial Number page and the Everest K2 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
