Description:
Found this lovely machine through a private sale. She was really dirty and looks like she had NEVER been serviced. I cleaned her up and she is ready to go. Will eventually replace the pin striping that seems to have disappeared with time.

Novice typewriter enthusiast. My first experience with a typewriter was with my grandma and her letting me type away on hers for hours without a single complaint (she was an angel). My love for vintage fountain pens, my favourite grandma and an appreciation for practical antiques/art has brought me here. One of the most rewarding thing so far about this hobby has been the very interesting and wonderfully helpful I've been introduced to.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Empire Aristocrat on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Empire Serial Number page and the Empire Aristocrat By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
