1955 Triumph Perfekt Serial # 636239 1955 Triumph Perfekt typewriter, Serial # 636239 Laurenz van Gaalen's 1955 Triumph Perfekt typewriter. 2020-12-10 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Laurenz van Gaalen: 1955 Triumph Perfekt Serial # 636239 First batch of the Perfekt with this body style. Note the absence of plastic card holders.

This typewriter was used by two doctors for typing out patient reports. They took very well care of the machine. Except for the wonky type (probably caused by extensive usage) the typewriter was in good condition.

Nice design detail is the chrome left end of the platen, that correspondents with the 0 position on the paper bail.

I live in The Netherlands.
Most common typewriter brands over here are Triumph/Adler, Olympia, Erika, Olivetti, Remington and Brother.
I collect and restore typewriters to learn about their design and to write with them.
