"Whatever Lola wants, Lola gets!" Yes, this beauty is named Lola. She is a first year model of the Royal Q.D.L.'s that came in 6 different colors. The factory color name is Ankony Blue. She was found and serviced by Eric from Tappin' Typewriters on Etsy in Florida and purchased by me. She has become my go to for daily journaling. I believe all typewriters have their own unique personalities and she helps me write out my daily musings. Her typeface is PC, Canterbury Pica or Pica Canterbury.

My love affair with typewriters started in 2012. I walked into a secondhand shop and found a Turquoise Royal Quiet De Luxe. It was love at first sight. Although it was a fair price it was still out of my budget. For the next few years I would only dream of having one of my very own. In 2014 I finally purchased my first typewriter and in 2019 I finally added a Royal Turquoise Quiet De Luxe to my collection. I name each typewriter and have been known to post about them on social media. I am a visual artist and use typewritten words in some of my artworks.
