Description:
The colour-scheme of this Q.D.L. was manufactured under the serial-prefix "RA" until the bright-coloured Q.D.L's came on the market in 1956 around the 3170000 mark and the "RA" prefix was discontinued. This is a very late example of this colour-scheme, manufactured shortly before this was discontinued. The case that came with this typewriter is already the updated style that would be used for the later Q.D.L's and is not all that common to find with this model. The typewriter is fairly tired mechanically and clearly has seen regular use in it's prime, although after I made sure that the shift-mechanism was operational again, which was faltering when it came to me, the typewriter works as it should.
