Purchased from a "junk" removal service, this typewriter shows signs of being a one-owner machine--plenty of use but no abuse, and well cared for. The gold plating is most worn on the return lever and the carriage release lever. Elite 87 type in 11-pitch. Silky smooth carriage function. Snappy touch (it features the extra bank of springs right behind the keyboard). Extra thick felt padding inside to buffer the sound. A true luxury model!
