Description:
A friend brought this beauty by my house the other day. It is the Lexikon 80 variant fitted with a decimal tabulator, plus it has a wide carriage which will allow you to insert paper up to A3 size. Cosmetically in fairly good condition - I only needed to bend two levers into shape -, there appears to be an issue with the first tabulator which I now will try to fix following Rob Bowker's 2013 instructions.
Update (three hours later): Rob's instructions are brillant, I did a bit of cleaning and managed to find the mistake. There were two, actually. I had rightly assumed the first tabulator had shifted out of position, which was easy to correct. Second, the carriage stopped mid-way, which was caused by a regular tab pin which had shifted out of position, equally easy to correct. Now for happy typing and type sample added!

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Olivetti Lexikon 80 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Olivetti Serial Number page and the Olivetti Lexikon 80 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
