Description:
When I bought this Hermes Standard 8, it was extremely filthy. A thick layer of some sticky, oily something was all over the typewriter. Even more on the inside than on the outside. I cleaned and repainted it. Secondly, I had the platen redone with fresh rubber. This was done by Alessio Vescovo, a true typewriter repair professional.
