Description:
Appears to be 1955 manufacture. Burgundy color, actually matches a ripe cherry as you can see. QWERTZ keys, with German letters.
The 4 and the T slugs are misaligned with the rest, but they seem to be mounted correctly, the tops are even with the ones on either side. the % strikes light on the left side but its partner 5 is fine.
Typeface is the Pica Imperialschrift 10 cpi

I have owned and used typewriters since I was 12 years old, I bought an Olivetti Lettera 32 from the Sears catalog with money earned unloading a freight truck in the small town I lived in then.
The last machine I bought new was an Adler Tippa with cursive typeface, in 1980.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Groma Kolibri on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Groma Serial Number page and the Groma Kolibri By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
