Description:
Mary Wallace "Wally" Funk (American Aviator). I can't really find any info on the Lady model. I saw the Pilot version (Richard Polt's) at a Cincinnati Type-In (Memorial Day weekend 2023) and loved it - my husband found one on eBay (shipped from Germany) as a Christmas 2023 gift for me. Super nice machine...plastic ribbon spools. Dropped off with Tom Furrier 5/29/2024.

Started collecting in March 2021 when an Olympia SM3 caught my eye at a thrift store. By May 2021, I was up to nine. By September 2021, my husband jumped in to the pool with both feet and our collection grew to 37. Phew. By October 2022 we had 64. In 2023 we began attending and hosting events where we can share our collection with the community and other collectors. We've sold or given away about 21. Good times.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Gossen Lady Tippa on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Gossen Serial Number page and the Gossen Lady Tippa By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
