Original Condition: All type bars are sticky. Type slugs are clogged with ink. Vibrator sticky. Platen hard and pitted.
Restoration Note: Smith Corona Silent Super very sticky keys clean adjust hone platen.
This typewriter has the most satisfying typing action of any manual typewriter I've ever used. Each keystroke feels like a precision mechanism is at work, transferring the energy of the keypress into exquisitely solid impact on the ribbon and paper. Hard to describe, a joy to experience.
