Classic portable. I don't love Royals--my typing style seems to induce skipping in many Royals. I think I brush the keys a bit when I get going. If I concentrate on thinking the keys are HOT I do much better with reducing incidence of skipping.

Typewriter user since childhood--"Endofthehall Press" (produced a magazine for my big sister, I did) and avid hunter for many years. Partial to portables/ultraportables, but do love my standard models too. I use my typewriters for letters, recipes, lists, stories, pondering, and in art/fabric creations.
