Another mechanical typewriter with a French-Canadian layout. It feels great to type on. I bought this from a friendly woman who was downsizing. This is my only standard machine (for now).

I enjoy learning about typewriters, how they work, and how to care for them. I mainly use them for writing letters and journaling. I have a small collection of 10 or so manual typewriters, and most have a French-Canadian layout. It's nice when I don't have to manually add accents to letters afterwards (e.g., é, ê. ë, ç, ù, à, etc).
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Royal HH on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Royal Serial Number page and the Royal HH By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
