Description:
Added so that the other "Commodore (Rhinemetall)" would not feel lonely! I'm not sure if Commodore had a model name or number for this, but it is a Rhinemetall KsT, so that's what I've called it here. I've repainted the case handle a gloss black as it was rusted out. Checking the photos here, I can see that I need to do some more rust treatment and cleaning. It types well, but the line lock and bell are not working properly. Like all KsT's, the carriage comes off with two latches at the back, which is very handy for any maintenance. I like the dial for colour selector, where I have done a little touch up with new paint. The keys look almost brand new, they have worn incredibly well. I got it from a family that had had it since new, and it was important to them that it went to someone who appreciated it. I don't use it all that often, but I do like it.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Commodore (Rheinmetall) KsT on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Commodore (Rheinmetall) Serial Number page and the Commodore (Rheinmetall) KsT By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
