Description:
Triumphs low end typewriter. Spartan machine with only one platen knob, but still equipped with chromed carriage ends and thick felt sound insulation.
This typewriter has a noticeable bump in the carriage return action. It occurs when the carriage is exactly in the middle, in the carriage lock postion. The bump is caused by a dent in the carriage rails. It looks like the dent is machined into the rails. Could it be a centering aide?

I live in The Netherlands.
Most common typewriter brands over here are Triumph/Adler, Olympia, Erika, Olivetti, Remington and Brother.
I collect and restore typewriters to learn about their design and to write with them.
