Description:
When I’m going to be sitting at the typewriter for multiple hours - over multiple days in a row - bringing a longer manuscript to final fruition, THIS typewriter is my go-to. When wrapping up the last three drafts of a chapbook manuscript a couple months back, my Silent became a physical and spiritual extension of self. She may not be too pretty, but she’s faithful. Alongside my Studio 44, Arrow/Quiet DeLuxe, and SM-3, this machine stands as a preferred favorite for everyday use.
Writers: Truman Capote, Arthur Miller, Carl Reiner, Dr. Seuss, Kurt Vonnegut
